The quality is part of the paramount components into the project management, But what does "quality" really mean?
ReplyDeleteAt its most basic level, quality means meeting the needs of customers. This is also known as "fit for use."
I like this simple definition of quality because its focus is where it should be, on the customer. This basic definition also implies that the requirements of the project have been met since the requirements should reflect the customer's needs if collected properly.

Client needs and wants have been and can be perceived as quality parameters. However, compliance, regulations, and standards e.g. ISO Certification, can, and should be, included in the definition of quality.
DeleteThe WBS is effective when all the factors or task are analyzed, because if you forget some of these, you will have to spend more time and perhaps money (costs)
ReplyDeleteA valid comment related to costs. I am interested in the interpretation of "effective WBS". What does that mean? What factors are you referring to?
DeleteWBS shouldn't be a process limited to the initiation stage of the project life cycle, instead it a tool that should be utilised throughout the whole project.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of views that support the use of WBS throughout the project life-cycle. Does the comment incorporate changes to the WBS as the project progresses?
